|Slatecaller||Question for the ones that installed the TL anti flicker harness. Did you just lay it in the back of the housing or attach it to something?|
|09-12-2013 01:11 PM|
Just for clarification - the TruckLite module is a single unit and goes to one headlight. Two modules are required for both Wrangler headlights.

|Viffer2003||Does anyone know if the harness will stop the pulse/ flicker when the headlights are in auto mode?|

I purchased the CREE LED projection bulbs off ebay.

Discount Fleet Supply seems like the best deal at $390 for the set. Between the 5% discount and free shipping, it's the way to go.
So to be clear, we need both the H4 To H13 Adapters 96630 (when ordering the headlights at DFS) and the Truck Lite PWM H13 to H4 adapters harness (Manufacturer Part No: 96830-3)?
Also nekojku, do you have a part number on those fog light bulbs? Can't find them on ijdmtoys.com.

Truck-Lite makes their own anti-flicker harness now for $60 a set. I may jump on these.

|TRAUMAhead||Any advantage running the Susquehanna harness over the anti-flicker harness from TLG or Northridge?|
|06-22-2013 04:54 PM|
I had my local guy install it for me and its done a killer job on my TLs. No more flicker and they are definitely brighter.
I can prob post pics of where its mounted and connected to the battery later, but everything else is behind the grille and I'm not taking that off again for pics.

Also, has anybody installed the Susquehanna harness with TLs and LED fogs?
I installed the Paramount front bumper with built-in LEDs and two of them pulse for about 10 minutes after shutdown. I expect it's due to the CANBUS but would like to hear from somebody who actually solved it with the Susquehanna harness.

|hoopster3||Thanks for the tips! I was afraid I would have to remove the grille again. I've read previous posts on how to properly aim the lights but the slope on my own driveway does not give me an even surface to work with.|

Last night I was able to try out the new Truck Lites in the dark. They are very awesome! I thought I noticed that the beams were crossed and once I pulled onto a gravel road behind another car it was apparent that was correct. The driver side headlight points pretty far to the right, while the passanger side light is almost perfect.
When I got home I was going to try and change the aim of the driver side light. I was able to find the adjustment screw but have no tool that will fit back there through the small gap between the hjeadlight and the grille. I would imagine I'll have to take the grille off again....is that correct?

|HK_Runner||I hope to install mine this weekend. Problem is I am so cranky with my lift kit issues that I should probably wait till I am calmer. I can see bad things happening if things go south with the install.|

|hoopster3||The grille was the 2nd worst part for me. The most difficult was unfastening the stock headlight connectors. Have a flathead screw at the ready to pry that baby apart.|

|HK_Runner||Shoot, it will take me an hour just to get that grill off. Then another hour to figure out how to get them in. Then I'll start aiming them.|

|hoopster3||Installed the lights tonight. Took me a little over an hour cause....well all vehicle work typically takes me 4x as long as stated. Won't get a chance to see them in the dark on the road until tomorrow night but they did light up the garage very well.|
