|dooder||Not 100% sure but the best top brands are all rounded at the top so you can run full steel doors or thier soft uppers.|

|Malick1019||Do they make a filler for this large gap? Or do I have to buy soft doors for the summer with my soft top? My hard Top is made for my steel full doors?|

|Habs33||OK, so bottom line...If I eventually want half doors, don't buy a soft top that came from a jeep with full doors.|

|jpdocdave||ya, the difference is the door opening. the round and square are not interhcangeable. well they will go on, but leave a huge gap.|

Would that mean the soft top itself would be different? By that I mean the rest of the soft top, not including the upper doors.

|dos0711||I believe the tops are different between half and full doors. The half doors upper half is rather square and the full doors are rounded.|

Quick question on YJ soft tops
I'm looking to buy a soft top from someone who has full steel doors, however my jeep will have half-doors with a soft upper doors. My question is...are all YJ soft tops exactly the same, or are they different near the door area based on whether it's full or steel doors?
