Let me get my dueling gloves...its on. haha I am fearless on that thing. They prolly won't let me ride it like I am used to. Funny story, I went to do a tour in Raleigh on one. They asked if I had prior experience with riding. Told them I am an instructor at a Police Department and they said "you're exempt, you may sit back down" Start at Yolk then race around Adler and back haha

Well Im sure a death could occur. They go about 13mph, weigh 150lbs. Rider can be up to 250lbs. So thats 400lbs moving at 13mph. Thats 2000lbs of force. Enough to break your femur.

Yeah, departments require training on everything. They are pricey we have 3 at least $6k a pop. Since I work in an mostly indoor environment, Its important we know how to stop quicky on hard shiny floors that can be wet blind corners and so many people. They are also a huge liability because the risk of road killing someone with it. We use it mostly for large area patrols and exterior patrols, tickets, and crowd control during football games. The hospital is right next to the stadium.

Its not like an 8hr course. Its cut down and melted to an 3hr class. I keep it simple, presentation, policies, user guide review, safety video, then a riding test that is a lot like a motorcycle endorsement test, with cones.

And it is for ya age group. So I am sure its 3-4 of PT each week, for 21 weeks.
