|RowdyMonster||I just got my Sahara unlimited for 35. Mine's got body colored hard top, 3.73 ratio, touch screen nav, saddle leather interior, remote start, premium wheels, tow package. It was right off the truck with 1 mile on it... I think you can get them down a bit more. I almost paid 32 for a 2 door with cloth seats and no remote start and about 600 miles on it... I'm glad I shopped around a bit more.|

|TheyCallMeSnow||I paid 32 for my sport with literally no options. No power windows, no power locks, only thing it did come with was 4x4 and 3.73 gears. She's getting an amazing price.|

For the deals someone can get, it does seem high. You can definitely do better shopping around. But if you think its a good deal, fantastic!

|n00g7||USAA is building me out at $31,469, you could probably say you built out online and came out with $32,000 (basically be at cost), which they will likely not allow you to have it for. Play hardball but allow them to push you to around $32,500. It's harder for them to be dicks when you're coming in knowledgeable about the price and "just want a fair deal" -- because they know you'll buy the car, it's just a question of how much they make off of you. $500-750 is the price you have to pay to play, but I'm not paying them $1000 for their monopoly.|

|Miguzi||And since all that she must have is auto. AC and hardtop... she could knock off about 3k off the msrp by going with the Sport S.|
|04-24-2013 03:40 PM|
|Miguzi||That will be what she will be missing out on.|

|Sgt.slaughter||On the jeep site you can see all the models and their specs so you can see what she would be missing.|

|joeg679||OK, I just talked to her and the guy is telling her that he can sell it to her for $31833 plus TT&I, so the all in price is $34149.64. She def wants the automatic trans, hard top. What will she be losing by getting a sport versus a sahara?|
|04-24-2013 03:08 PM|
For THAT Jeep..... $32,500 is a resonable number
BTW...what price is she getting? that shet has alot of numbers on it .. MSPR INvoice pricing Employee pricing.... what number is she getting?

The one thing you have to keep in mind is that prices for these rigs differ for each state. Being that you are in TX, the price should be nice. I myself would say that price sounds very reasonable.
Of course, you will be able to talk them down some as well. If she were to get a manual transmission instead of an automatic, the price would drop. Also, if she didn't care to have the Sahara model, she could drop down to a model which would cost less. Soft top instead of the hard top would be cheaper as well.

|joeg679||Thnks. I don't see a sticky. I really want to see if the pricing that she is getting is good or are people getting the same or similar vehicle for much cheaper. Or, if there is anyway she can get the price lower.|

Check out the sticky above for retail and invoice pricing.
In the end, the right price is the one that she can afford and justify. I've spent too much on things in the past-retail for my Rolex, an Audi I "had to have"- but it didn't matter because I loved owning them.

Is this pricing good?
Since purchasing my Jeep, I have a lot of friends who want one now. I have a family member who is looking for one in Texas and the attached pic is a screenshot of the pricing she's getting. Can you guys take a look and let me know what she should be paying? She really just wants a hard top and AC, anything else she can do without. Thanks
