|larjeep||Went on nice and smooth. I would reccomend this upgrade to anyone with stock setup. It is well worth it. Set toe and steering after and u r all set to go.|

|UnlimitedLJ04||I run the V8 ZJ tie-rod. Been working good for what I do for a few years now.|

I run the ZJ setup. Works good.
Bent it using stupidity + power though (nothing beats stupidity + power).
Bent it back using a hi-lift handle, finished wheeling that day and drove it home.
Will I continue to drive on it? No. But I was shocked at how well it held up and bent back with no noticeable warble on the road.
Stock is something like 0.65" and ZJ is around 1" if I remember correctly. Substantially beefier.

The V8 ZJ upgrade is a good option if you're on a budget, just realize it's only a mild upgrade. I've seen the ZJ stuff bend a few times, and the latest I was surprised it could have bent on such an easy day.
That being said, it is better than stock.
Running the Currie setup with Savvy's tie rod myself and couldn't be happier.

ZJ Tie Rod Conversion

|larjeep||So what's used from the zj|
|04-23-2013 09:05 PM|
|BLK00TJ||My Moog was painted, but yes, the ZJ tie rod is an upgrade to the stocker. The best thing about the ZJ rod is if it bends, it can be bent back easier retaining more strength than the hollow stock rod. Move to 35s and you should absolutely consider the Currie or even better, Ultimate kit from Savvy with the beefed up tie rod.|

|larjeep||What about crown|
|04-23-2013 09:01 PM|
I did the ZJ Tierod swap. The ZJ drag ling is exactly the same so I left that stock.

|HobieSailor||Currie Currectlync is the best but it's $450+... I think the ZJ upgrade is the way to go, it's way beefier than stock and can be done for about $80 using ACDelco parts off amazon. ACDelco is good stuff too, comes painted unlike the moog parts for the same price.|
