yer_narkotik i have a set of those in my yard... we went with the 33"s on my jeep ... not sure if I want to sell the other ones or save them incase I need them after the next trip out.

dawhitesJKU u r correct. 315/70/17...most people consider them 35's including myself, but in reality they measure just a lil over 34. same with 285/70/17...i consider them 33's but mine came up to exactly 32.

N00b question, 315/70R17 = 34" or 35"

I'm completely new to the Jeep/off roading world and the wife and I just picked up a 2012 Rubi Unlimited. It came with Goodyear Wrangler tires sized at 315/70R17. Looking at this calculator, it says the tires are actually 34.3 inches. I've never heard anyone say "I've got 34s", so was wondering if my tires would be considered 34s or 35s?

Like I said, total n00b question
