Guys check out the Hanson (or Hansen?) skid plate. I and others have used it and it fits and looks perfect.

iBlanton Awesome thread. I'm not sure if this is going to make the search for a bumper easier or more difficult because so many of them look so good!

I like my lights out front and want to keep my LED light bar.

I wanted a stubby look, so I'll start looking in the direction, though I could just go with a Barricade HD to match the rear.

Only problem is trying to fund this without the credit card, seems I have 2 big ski trips lined-up and a date with the Treasury Department.

I ordered the one above from maximumjeep.com, Shipping Weight is 75 pounds, it arrives today, i plan to do a write up on the install.

It's only 5/32" thick Steel but from what i can tell that will work fine for light Trail Driving and Daily Driver. It's probably not going to stand up to a good hit on a rock or another vehicle but i don't intend to do any rock crawling.

I went with this one because i don't want decreased gas mileage due to the weight of some of the extreme off road bumpers. Nor did I want to spend twice the price or more for something i wouldn't get the use out of.

Thankfully I'm a former welder and not afraid to modify heavy steel.

We'll see what happens there, I chose to ask for forgiveness rather than permission so hopefully the wife doesn't get to upset.
i installed the Maximum Jeep Bumper. It weighs about 75lbs. It's SOLID! The LED lights are super bright for their size. I plan on installing a 17 inch Cree bar on the bullybar some time in the next two weeks. Looking for the best deal.

Love the recessed Winch on this bumper!
My cheapo bumper gets here on Saturday, I'm hoping it's an easy install.
