Mr Mac We have the I6 with the six speed manual and I couldn't imagine having the 4/auto! Having the 4 banger yields you no real benefits in fuel mileage but will limit you on the size wheels/tires it'll turn without over-working itself!

Plowboy1970 My 6 cyl/auto will run circles around my 4cyl/stick all day long. Could not imagine a 4cyl hooked to the auto.

With the auto/4cyl combo does it have any performance or is it better to look at 6cyl/auto? Fiance won't drive a 5spd and we can use it as a backup vehicle.
