|pyrilampes||Thank you. I want a super solid no vibration machine with the clearance. I was going to install the slip joint first, than the lift, but like you noted, gonna have to do them together. Now to find an all black 4 inch lift kit..|

An SYE will require a new CV driveshaft.
Normally, you would want to:
1) Install Lift
2) Install SYE
3) Measure for driveshaft
4) Buy and install driveshaft
A lift will change your driveshaft angle and length, so do the lift first. With a mild lift, you can also just use a TC drop, which is cheaper and easier. For street driving, you may not care about ground clearance, so a TC drop would be more appropriate for you.

Slip Yoke eliminator
Thinking of lifting my TJ for fun and popularity.
The one thing I wanted to start with is the slip yoke. My jeep has over 100grand in milage and even though the joint isnt giving problems, it will with probably do that when lifted.
Can you install a slip yoke eliminator with the factory lift and factory driveshaft?
