Sharpie If no one has put together a jeep club yet in the Henderson area, I can head up getting that together. We could branch off of Texas Jeeps if we wanted to.

Ripley Google Rock River Jeep. I think they are out of Longview.

We also have a Facebook page at http://facebook.com/easttexasjeepclub. If you are interested in contributing or being a part of the club, please visit our website and sign up.

We have cool stickers for your ride and bcards to attract other Jeepers you might see. Our first cruise-in social will be coming up in the next few weeks in the Nacogdoches area, but we hope to be able to plan others in the various parts of East Texas as we grow.

We are hoping to have a footprint that covers many parts of East Texas. I live about 45 minutes away from Nac myself, but that's where the predecessor clubs were based and so we already had a slight membership. We've got some people in Tyler as well and I would expect once we have a few there we'll have a separate cruise in. I'll be going to that one too, which is about 30 minutes for me as well.

The online forum/facebook will hopefully be the place where we really have the back-and-forth. Let's face it, meetings once a month are great but we think about Jeeps all the time.

It will take a little bit of time to grow, but once it does I think it will all work just fine.

There are also a couple of different groups out there with multiple chapters, some Jeep only, some 4wd.

I've reached out to a couple of people on this thread about starting an "official" East Texas club. If anyone else has any interest please PM me!

I think I drove past you Tuesday too. lol!

I will post in here when we will have a meeting. We usually meet at the sonic on North Street so we can all line up. I thought Sonic was kind of an odd meeting place but it works out pretty good. Everyone that drives by notices all the Jeeps.

This is the link to the little jeep club. It was started by college students but there are a few of us that are a bit older. They are open to changing the name, it's still pretty new. If anyone in the area is interested make a request to Patrick or Sam to join the page.

indirocz28 Not solely for jeeps, but we have a lot and a lot usually come out. Check out Brazos Valley Off Road Ranch in Bryan.

Also, you can find and link up with a local TX4WD Chapter at Texas Four Wheel Drive Organization.

Tweak DFW-TX4wd is hosting a big event at BMRA (gilmer) next weekend. Going to be tons of fun, I took leave just to make it. I am sure there will be lots of East Texans there.
