Sounds like death wobble if stopping and starting again fixes it. If it was always at a certain speed or above a certain speed, I would look more at failing ujoints or driveline angles from the lift. Can you post a pic of your rear driveshaft, where it connects to the transfer case, and a picture of the skid plate under the transmission/transfer case. This will allow us to determine if the angles are too steep. Also grab the driveshaft and push it side to side to check for failing ujoints. It shouldn't move at all.
Check and post that stuff and we can go from there. Also post a pic of your springs and an overall pic of your jeep and we can tell you lift brand and height most likely.

weird shaking on 3rd gear
whats up guys/girls, just got '98 wrangler 5sp 4x4 with 145k miles on her. she rides good and smooth, has a lift but dont know which one it is, has 33in tires, but for some reason when i'm driving sorta slow on third gear, at some points its starts shaking really bad to the point that i have to almost stop completely and start driving again. what could be causing this? this is my first jeep so im trying to learn all about these awesome cars. thanks for the help
