Rpm90001 I know this is an old post, but did you ever find the problem? I have the same issue. Sorry to dig up such an old post...

Did you try every single gear in the transmission to see if any of them work? Does it still shift alright?

If everything else is fine, I'd bet something in the clutch is borked and you need to go back to your mechanic to have them sort it out.

derf Check the easy thing first. Is the transfer case in neutral?

Other than that, try jacking up the whole rear end to get both rear tires off the ground. Then, in 2HI with the engine idling, slowly let out the clutch and see if the wheels move.

Jeep won't move in gear

Had a new clutch put in a few months ago and have had absolutely no problems with it but today it just does not want to move. I can shift into gear, 1st, reverse goes into gear as smooth as always but it will not move an inch. Any advice on what this could be would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
