Bought the Chicago 3/8 close quarter drill with step bits to install my evo front shock relo's.
Nice setup for the $$

I picked up a Drill Master 4 1/2" angle grinder for 12.99 with a coupon. Used it to grind my body mount washers to install my Ace rock sliders. Worked great.

So far their regular sockets have been good along with their adapters, I havent broken one yet and ive broken bolts loose with them that ive cracked some of my dads craftsman sockets on,
I love their tow straps,
I borrowing my buddys scissor lift tranny jack thats HF and its been holding up my transmission and transfer case while im doing lower end engine work for over a week now,
Farm jack is nice but I dont really trust it, eventually I will upgrade to a high lift,
Mechanical oil pressure gauge is doing great,
Only thing I really had issues with was their air impact, but I did grab the cheap $30 one

-air hammer/chisel, works well. Not a whole lot of power but works (used to chisel off ball joint rivet heads)
-torque wrench never had a problem with it. although I use my USA made one for critical things
-Air hose, great
my father bought their pneumatic angle grinder but have yet to use it. little worried about using such a cheap grinder.

I usually walk around for it seems like hours looking at everything multiple times. Things that I've bought and have work like a champ are
-Orange Tie Downs. They have never come loose or sticking came apart. (sorry not sure what brand they were.)
-Texture Gun. Home Depot sells a Wallboard brand but that thing is HUGE i like the smaller hopper on this texture gun.
-Chicago heat gun. I use this thing ALL the time as a maintenance man for an apartment complex. Every time a residents frog becomes frosted up this thing will kick that ices ass.
-Orange tubular trouble light. I have dropped this thing multiple times and even used it camping. Very bright and durable.
-100 PC Security Bit stet. I bought this set ONLY to open up my PS3 to clean it out. It worked like it should have and I know it will have future uses to come.
and the newest tool to the family from Harbor Freight..
-Torque wrench. I've only use it a couple times under the jeep to tightened some loose bolts but it works very well.

|Jeeplover1||i like all the tools. i use them once maybe twice a year and paying namebrand price is not smart for me|

|chevymad||The powder coat gun works very well. I have never tried their powder though. I buy all mine from Columbia coatings. I've done a few sets of wheels and they come out real nice.|

|OhioLugg||I had to laugh out loud that there were 168 posts of good things from HF! I typically break/throw away within one week about 30% of what I buy. I did get a good hammer thats still going strong! My best HF buy!|

|lexallen||whatever I buy from there, I always buy the ext warranty... they will swap out the old one for a new one no questions asked.... I had their big demolition chipper hammer, which has way less expensive than the comparable bosch, and worked just fine.... when it did stop working, they swapped it out no probs.... my friend just bought their 7" angle grinder and likes it|

I have a set of the jack stands been good so far
A set of the wheel dollies had a sligh issue with one but HF replaced it without any issues
I have one of their sawzalls that has been really good to me figured for $20 if it worked onces it was worth it. I have had it for about 5 years.

I picked up one of the flux wire welders a few years ago for around $85. I figured if it lasted for the project I was working one, it had paid for itself.
It's still going strong, having used at least a dozen spools of wire and having outlived a few of their angle grinders.

Funny ... I bought a Craftsman torque wrench.
Set to 40 ft lbs for a u-bolts. The thing would not click. "Wtf" something was wrong.
The handle loosened up and was close to falling apart. Researching-the screw that holds the handle together affects the torque mechanism. I can't just tighten it. Apparently a very common problem posted all over the internet. What a piece of s***
Anyhow ... my backup Harbor Freight wrench finished the job. No more Craftsman torque wrenches for me

Sorry, I have a bunch of HF tools. I can't recall a single one breaking. I started with a 100+ Piece Craftsman set. Everything else is from HF.

-combo wrenches MM set
- Earthquake impact 1/2 **
- screw driver set
- 3 ton aluminum jack
- 3 ton stands
- 24" breaker bar **
- 3/8 torque wrench
- pry bar
- many boxes of latex gloves **
- Sawsall ( middle of the line)
- HD drill and bits
- canvas tool bag
- alloy pipe wrench
- soon to come **
