st1264 Certain years may be slightly different. Find out exactly what you have and what you need. Hopefully you have everything. Good luck. It's getting warmer here, next week

mike1158 if you bought the entire top NEW from MOPAR or another Manufacturer or vendor..the top should come with the brackets..

IF you bought it second hand (as i did) you need to make sure the seller took the brackets off his Jeep...

THEY ARE NOT HIDDEN UNDER THE BAR PADDING

if you need them..you can get them from Q-Tec

like this:

MOPAR 55397230AC - MOPAR® Passenger Side Soft Top Bow Bracket for 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler JK 2 Door - Quadratec

it say 07-10.. I'd check with Q-Tec to see it they work with '12

Lots of guys have bought soft tops from others and these brackets were not included. So I think the OP is looking to see if he has all the necessary parts. Hopefully he does.

st1264 All of the brackets should have been included with your soft top purchase.

I have the Dual Top option, both were installed. The soft top was inside, connected to the roll bar with the brackets. I'm assuming on a "hardtop only" JK you will not have the brackets in the back. If they are not included with your soft top purchase, you'll have to buy them.

Question if you have DUAL TOPS

I just purchased an OEM soft top for my 2012 two-door. Question: if my wrangler came ONLY with the hard top, do I need to buy the brackets that connect the soft top frame to the roll bar, or are they hidden under the zipper padding?

And, are there any other parts I might need ... again, in the context that my wrangler was ordered without the dual top option.

Thanks.
