My problem is the water company keeps saying to water less, but the HOA says to water more because it is not green enough. How does one deal with this?

Gunner Dave has one that makes him turn blue like a smurf if he gets too much sun. I guess I will get banged up some but thats a price I gotta pay if I want to keep jeeping. I will just have to decide when it is banged up enough to replace a part and when it is only making it look tough.

Serg5000 Good morning everyone.

I like running the A/C but never seem to thinking our jk will over heat. I recently started removing the top and doors because I'm denting shit up. Passenger door is already dented from a trip to the Rubicon. The I run a soft top on trails. Don't care if that gets hammered. Here is a list of damages.

1. Passenger door.
2. Left side of hood. ( already have a replacement)
3. Driver side steel fender ( the one that mounts to the body ). I'm still looking for that used.

Ditchdoc I take pantyhose and lap it multiple layers and put it between any two parts of the ventilation that is pre fan. Don't know if it works but it makes me feel like I did something.
Got to the bend at deep creek around 11 Saturday. The place still had people, real friendly people. Anyway temps not bad. Don't know what it was but definitely cooler than Placentia.

Take the cowl off and the hole the heater draws the air into find a way to mount an air filter on top of it. TJ's do not have a cab filter in the heaterbox

Serg5000 Good morning everyone. Boy am I rested. Sore as hell but finally rested.

aw12345 It's been to hot for to much fun, but!

Steering on Tinkertoy was a wash, but playing with scrappy was fun.
Welded a few thing in the heat put some oil in the front diff. Tightened and added jam nuts to the control arms and then it was flexy time.
Also figured out that the TCC works in all gears, couldn't figure out for a bit why the darn thing kept stalling, guess a idiot light would be a good addition.
Anyway on to the good stuff at 4 feet of flex front and rear things are stable and it's easy to get there. I bet I am gonna love auto wheeling.

Serg5000 You could head up to the water slides up in Sequoia. That's about 120 miles away.

WOKNROX The hot springs around the Coxy meadows area are all running and clean. Like earlier stated watch for the nudist.
09-13-2014 02:01 PM
WOKNROX I'm sure there's plenty of water in Deep Creek around the "Leeds Point" swimming hole...that's the one that has the mural painted on the rock..about a mile past the parking area off of PCT. It used to be a place for the nudist back in 60's ,70's and early 80's. Rattlesnake canyon had the usual amount of water in it for this time of year when we ran Matino Wash. Remember that these waters are feed from deep spring and not surface waters.

Gross. I hope someone is monitoring that. If the water isn't flowing I wouldn't swim in any part of Deep Creek to honest, and with the drought it's likely a lot of the pools are stagnant. Unfortunately someone would have to make the trip to see.
