Thanks Blaine, I was hoping you'd chime in. That's very very good to hear, and makes the kit that much more attractive. I assumed as much, but you know what happens when you assume so I wanted to make sure before taking the plunge.
I'll probably start buying pieces next month since that's the case!

The pump, reservoir, steering gear fittings, steering gear, and all the rest of the plumbing are the same with minor length differences no matter what front axle you put assist on.
If you do custom crossover or similar steering, a 1.25" draglink is very common so it's entirely possible to retain and keep the draglink bracket, especially the new design.
As far as the cooler goes, I'd recommend not buying ours unless you do the rest of it. The same cooler is sold by PSC and others which will get you the -6 fittings that I upgrade to -8. I can do the -6 stuff but it isn't really worth it.

|geiman||I just mentioned the cooler because its available seperately on the site so at first blush it looks like its overpriced. You can buy the same cooler elsewhere but the fittings are the expensive part.|

|geiman||That cooler comes modified to fit the v-bar. But where the cost comes into play is the fittings they supply. If you search around you can probably find where Blaine explains the cost, but each one is some ridiculous amount, which is why it costs so much.|

|geiman||Yep; if it wasn't so much I'd have it myself. I just don't know that I want to sink that kind of money into a D30. At some point I need to sit down and tally up everything that is specific to the D30 and the Currie steering so that I know how much money I'd be throwing away should I upgrade to a bigger axle.|

|Derp||Your next upgrades after doing the linkage itself which you have is a cooler, res., and steering ram. That's the only way to actually benefit. Blaines kit is the answer, but you will pay for it.|

It's not cheap. Half of the kit is here (you don't need the knuckle saver, but pretty much everything else):
and you still need the actual steering gear box from PSC, which you order from them. I'm guessing it would end up being much more than you're looking to spend.
There are other options that are similar (but not "bolt-on") and might be a bit cheaper, but regardless you're looking at a nice chunk of change. Hydro assist isn't cheap, but there isn't really anything cheaper that is actually an upgrade.

|Newly installed long arm||That looks awesome what is the cost. For all the parts u may have said I just didn't c it|

If you play in rocks and you truly want an upgraded steering box, you're going to want to look at something that is or can be ported for hydro assist. This is a good option if you plan on sticking with the front axle/Currie steering for a while:

|Newly installed long arm||I have the currie correct link on it ill look into the cooler tho|
|04-25-2013 01:40 PM|
|geiman||I'd start by upgrading your tie rod and drag link if you haven't already, and adding a power steering cooler. The Durango box won't do much for you unless you like it's turning ratio better.|

|Newly installed long arm||None really just wondering herd a lot of. People say when u run 35 inch tires it's a better box|
|04-25-2013 07:18 AM|
The Durango box isn't really an "upgrade" in my opinion; if anything, it's merely a different ratio.
What problem are you trying to solve?

Tj steering upgrade
I've read people using 98 99 Durango gear boxes any body no of a better way that doesn't require me to rob a bank
