no....$1500 is a lot. That's what the Rigid 50" cost. The Hanma 50" comes in at about $1200 LESS than the Rigid.

They really only like selling in bulk though.

Even if the light output is slightly less, it is worth the savings.

We are talking about auxiliary lights here....as in, additional/secondary/optional lights. Who cares if my 'cheap' light has 5% less output of light than the brand 300X more expensive....

Huge pic alert. However, if you click on the full size image, you can see what I'm referring to.

Compared to an import light with hardened glass (note this isn't one I sell, but gives a good comparison).

I'm seeing more and more jeeps of all kinds with these

Rigid has a completely different design from anything imported, being that they have an optical lense on top of the LEDs themselves and also a PC lense covering the entire light. No one else uses this first optical bending lense. Only the covering lense.

And I meant all the lights Illumination LEDs sells have removable lenses. Not the illumination cells. By the way haha.

Sorry for all the questions, wanted to make an educated decision before making a purchase.
I borrowed that picture from somewhere online so it wasn't my light, but it was a small rock on the road that did the damage.

I'll put it this way. Rigid uses PC lenses. Haven't heard many complaints from those guys.

I've done my share of studying and I completely understand your reservations.

JeepAddOns-Chris MRT2, the disadvantage of polycarbonate can be seen with cars with polycarb headlights (most cars produced in the last ten+ years). While polycarbonate is more resistant to breakage, it is more easily scratched than glass and gets cloudy and yellow over time.

LED light bars come with both PC or hardened shatter resistant glass depending on what one you go with. As with anything with Jeeps and other offroad rigs, there's always trade-offs and compromises that have to be made. Glass has advantages PC doesn't and PC has advantages that glass doesn't.

The good thing is that either on light bars with PC or ones with hardened glass, that piece is fairly easily replaceable.

PC is the same thing rigid runs, and is referred to as Unbreakable.

That's why I posted them, since the OP was asking for a cheap LED light bar.

I would say go with Rigid or BullDog lighting but they are expensive and made in USA. The only reason I use them is because my friend is sponsored by them and I can get deals on the lights.

I know that it is a downside I was just posting the information. I didn't say it was better.

CarlosChavira I run a 50" LED bar on my YJ from Illumination LEDs. It's the best mod I've made for my YJ. Definitely the best prices I've seen anywhere. 50" is only $599.99 w/ free shipping. And it's rated at 21,120 lumens. Ridiculous output. www.illuminationLeds.com

So first he bought a cheap light then the most expensive one he could find lol
