jasongind Save your money. bmlBrewer already stated the law in simple terms and he is 100% correct. For those that would like the read the actual law, here it is...

"COLORADO REVISED STATUTES

of the Sixty-Eighth General Assembly of the State of Colorado 2012
and Constitutional and Statutory amendments approved at the General Election on November 6, 2012 ***

Yea, and with the extra money I can put it to better use for my Jeep . I've seem Jeeps doorless with and without. But if they are a waste and get in the way. Then the decision is made!

State law in CO says you only have to have a minimum of one mirror that allows you to see for 200 meters behind you. Your rear view mirror counts, and you only need side mirrors if the rear view is obstructed.

OKLAHOMA_TJ I like the jam mirrors

nelsonan1 I really like my rugged ridge quick release mirrors, they're about $60 but they look good and are worth it in my opinion

O_M_Jeep The relocation brackets have one draw-back that motorcycle mirrors that go in the hinges don't, with relocated mirrors, when your doors are on, every time you open the door it hits the mirror and knocks it out of place.

Patrick H What are safari style mirrors?

Moebius Save your money. I used just the windshield rearview mirror until my tire got big enough to block that view. Then I went to the hardware store and got a bicycle mirror to put in the hinge. Not nearly as cool as a Harley mirror but it is sufficient to meet the letter of the law.

paddian I think the Harley mirrors work great. Can be a little hard to see if they are small but who cares. Who really uses them when door less. This is what I have on mine.

MLaborde I bought a set of long-stem Harley mirrors and just put them in the hinges. Works great & looks cool, too. You can get them on eBay for a lot cheaper than you can in a store. Even HD knockoffs would look good.

Windshield mirrors...Yay or Nau?

Next summer I'm taking my doors off. I know I don't need to have safari type mirrors living in Colorado. But do you all think I should get a set of mirrors and the relocation brackets or just save the money? I can't seem to decide on whether I like them or not.

Thanx all in advance.
