O3jeep If you need parts or Fab work done, anything from mild to wild there's a shop in Kenosha called cncoffroad. I used to wheel with the owner, Bob. Great guy and does amazing work. DJ

BrentR94 I'm in Grayslake. I'm also struggling to find people over here with the same obsession for Wranglers as me!

Cop215 Also new to Jeep. Does anyone know a place in Lake County that does mods to Jeep? Looking to eventually add the POD system along with some duallys.

gfd66 That would be fantastic Monkeybone! I hopefully will be getting the last bit of my floor fixed tomorrow, but since I still have the old "sport" cage sitting next to my garage I was thinking about using the tubing from it and making my "family" cage a bit better. Where in Gurnee are you? PM me.

monkeybone419 gfd66, I am from the gurnee area and a few of my friends are into the jeeps as well, I am sure that you have seen them driving down the road (they are the ones that arent really "pretty" but they can go just about anywhere). One of them is a pretty badass fabricator and really knows his stuff, I'm sure he would be able to help you out with questions and possibly do modifications for you as well.

gfd66 Jim, thanks for the invite!! Unfortunately the Jeep has an appointment to get some welding and a few other things done to it this weekend. I am hoping to have it all back together by Monday/ Tuesday at the latest. At least in driving condition anyway.

Anybody here from the Gurnee/Waukegan area?

Hey all, new to Jeeps in general. Just bought my first one. Looking for a club or local Jeep owners/ fanatics that I can lean on for help. I'm sure that i will be coming up with lots of questions as I go along.
