|HK_Runner||Thanks for the information. I'll call them to find out what the approximate wait times are on the bumpers and sliders. I'm in no rush since my Jeep is fully rigged. I was actually going to put their bumper and sliders on my 4Runner before I got the Jeep and decided to leave the 4R mostly stock.|

I have their sliders too. They're very solid. Mine have taken a bunch of smacks and scrapes, and are holding up well. No dents or bends, just scratches. I put a strip of grip tape on the top, along the entire length of them because otherwise they're quite slippery when used as a stepper. If you do this make sure the grip tape is only on top and doesn't wrap around to the sides, otherwise you'll scrap your leg on them when getting in and out while wearing shorts.

|HK_Runner||Nice! I am considering ordering the rails and getting rid of my ACE rails. I am really tempted to order the bumper too, and sell my AEV when it comes in. Luckily, the AEVs sell pretty well locally. How was the install...pretty straightforward?|

I've had my Shrockworks mid-width front bumper for over three years and I've had no problems and no regrets.
Reasons I chose this bumper:
- Nice look, nice lines, IMO.
- Mount for the stock fogs.
- The skid plate to protect the e-locker.
- The winch sits down low, not blocking much airflow to the radiator, and not too conspicuous for nosy passers by. This is also a more solid position, right in between the frame rails, for when using the winch.
- Winch hoop to protect the winch, and mount lights on.
- The winch hoop is 2.5" in diameter, beefier looking than some others.
- Beefy shackle mounts.
- Screw holes to mount the front license plate.
- Great quality. Worth the money IMO.
- Since most people aren't willing to wait for a Shrockworks, that makes my Jeep a little more unique.
If I had any negatives to list, I would, but honestly I don't have any. I mean other than the long wait, that everyone is already well aware of.

I really wanted to get the Shrockworks, but the wait time was long, and add the cost on top and I went elsewhere. I hear the quality is really good though.
After doing research I also wonder how much the bumpers weigh too, in real life, not just the estimated weight. At 100+lb a piece that's a lot of weight on each end too.

|Raiderfan001||If it's what you really want then put your order in. Some things are worth the wait. I've got a 1911 I've been waiting on since July 2011...I wish I only had to wait a measly 6 months.|
|04-28-2013 03:12 PM|
4-6 months? Completely not worth it. Remember, you'll be putting miles on your Jeep for 6 months. If you buy shrock then you'll lose 6 months of Jeep mileage but without a new bumper. It's difficult to translate it to money but that lost entertainment is worth something. 6 months of miles on the clock are miles you'll never get back... Why not spend them with a new bumper now?
After all you you are assuming you'll be alive after the next 6 months. Maybe maybe not?
Pick out a bumper you like that is available now, order it now, install it next weekend. Drive it and smile.

|04-26-2013 10:36 PM|
|Farnham21||All look great to me the one I don't like is the one without the grille guard. And the price is right for sure. I'm having a hard time now choosing between that one and the poison spyder one below. PS is $588 so it leans me more towards the warn but both are so badass|

Do a google image search. Some of the pics make it look big and blocky/boxy. Let me know what ya think
|04-26-2013 09:50 PM|
|Farnham21||This one right here is the one I'm looking at. $442 on eBay right now. Doesn't look to boxy to me|

|Farnham21||Pretty sure if you search warn bumper in the search bar you will find some pics of it on members jeeps.|

Although the shrockworks is pretty sweet!
|04-26-2013 08:40 PM|
|HK_Runner||The front may not look as fancy as the rear but it is incredibly well designed. Each angle and tab has been thought out carefully. Read up on it, and you may change your mind. I have the AEV front/rear bumper and the tire carrier...not even close.|

|HK_Runner||Hard to beat Shrockworks anything. I'd wait.|
|04-26-2013 07:40 PM|
|Farnham21||Arb stubby is pretty sweet. All of the poison spyders look real good. Jcr I think dagger series makes a good looking stubby. Even warn has a great looking one. It goes on and on. The smitty xrc mod one is even sweet and gives you the customization to your own wants|

ACE JK 2007-13, Pro Series Front Bumper (Bull Bar)
ACE JK 2007-13, Pro Series Front Bumper (Stinger)
Site is weird, scroll down.
EVO: Bumper/Armor/Skids, 1/4 Pounder Front JK Bumper
Would cost $100 to powdercoat.
Off Road Evolution JK Revolution Stinger, Texture Black Powder Coat (1079B)

I want a stubby. I like how the shrockworks comes finished (coated) and with a skid.
The brawler is unfinished and with a skid is more than the shrockworks.

|NFRs2000NYC||Meh. Their front is plane jane, has an insane wait time, and isn't cheap. I'd look elsewhere. I'd rather get an LOD Armorlite or an EXP1 if you want a full width. If you want mid, there are 50 other choices that IMHO look better.|
