wwch99tj You can use the coil rail on the new engine, the block is the same as your current engine

Gold Miner I am guessing that you may have to change the ECM wiring harness as well to make it work but not positive on that.

engine replacement

New to the jeep thing but i have a 2000 wrangler 2.5 with rod bearing noise I have a great 97 2.5 I know one has a distributor and the other a coil rail but question is can the 97 be converted to a coil rail and made to fit my 2000 any help getting me on the road would be GREAT
