I'm from Rochester and have looked into whispering pines, but would love to not go my first time by myself. My days off are wednesday and Thursdays unfortunatly!

I'm not sure if it would be worth a 3 hour ride...

1jeeplvr As much as I would LOVE to do it this weekend me & my wife just bought a new house a few months ago & Im up to my neck in yard work. Also I have to change my diff fluid since its been 500 miles since my gear install & dont want to damage my lockers.Next weekend we are taking our dogs away to Lake George.Sooo i will be free the weekend of the 18th.
Is the pines big enough for a days worth of wheeling? Was it worth the ride? Its prob a 3 hrs ride for me. Let me know.Id also consider doing another trip to Rausch sometime.
Let me know.

thatīs the way it goes. They come, and they leave... sadly :-(

I wouldnīt really say it was too much, but to much to risk getting stuck alone out there :-)
I plan tomorrow again, maybe possible for you?

lemitone now I was on my own.
Itīs a very nice place there. Not too big but enough to have fun for a couple of hours. Unfortunately nobody could join, with more than one vehicle the fun is definitely a bigger one.
However, I joint the yearly membership and I will go there more often.
