RMSpiel i also considered it too, but we had a huge snow storm, and i just backed the jeep out of almost 3 feet of snow with no problems, then me and my friends took it and a sled to a huge, empty parking lot and did some "jeep sledding" as we called it, then it got warmer and the top came off, and said to myself "i can't get rid of this, its just too damn awesome"
plus everyone likes a jeep
you would regret selling it

rgroesbeck1 I had Jeeps when I was younger. Older Jeeps (CJ5). When I saw the JK was replacing the TJ I went and drove one. Immediately started looking for a TJ in good condition (no new ones on the lots around here). I found my 2004, did a little fixing-up, and would not get rid of it. In fact, when my "big day" comes I plan to be propped up in it instead of placed in a box. Much better way to go.

Do what you want -- it's your life. Just remember they don't make the TJ any more and good ones will only get harder to find as time passes.

DocterWrangler Me and my wife were considering selling our jeep a few years ago. We got it professionally detailed, and was on our way to the dealership to have it appraised when we passed another wrangler and got a wave. We both looked at eachother and smiled, she instantly turned around. I'm so glad we didn't go through with the trade in. I like our jeep a heck of a lot better than a Ford edge

Palmers2000tj Come on you have a 4x4 and a convertible all wrapped up in one! If for some really strange reason I decided to sell mine my wife and kids would say four door or no sell! Mine will turn into a rock crawler when its no longer able to run the roads! Keep the jeep!

Ebxgsxr i started to think that for mine also. closest off road park from me is almost 2.5 hours away. but like my wife told me, even if i just get to go once a year, i will love the time while i'm there. at least i drive it occasionally on the street to work.

my son does love riding in it too, lol.

Considering selling the Jeep

I have been considering it for quite some time and here is why. I live in Missouri and the closest off road park to me is about an hour and a half away. First, I hate the fact that I have to pay to off road. Second, I have hit some of the local public forest areas and been warned twice by conservation that if they catch me on those trails again, I will get fined. I thought they were approved trails but I guess not and where I can off road, I could take my wifes exlporer on these trails. The Jeep just doesn't get used like it should be. What do you guys think?
