|JeepersCreep3rs||I had my friends shop do it and it took them like 2-3 hrs so I'm guessing not to hard. It's a jeep the tank is right there not much to undo besides the skid plate covering the tank, but yes it's all in one unit.|

|apannone||Was it tough? Everything I'm reading makes it seem like it's an "all-in-one" replacement, and dropping the tank isn't too hard.|

Diagnosing My New Jeep
Hello everyone. I recently bought a 2003 Jeep Wrangler X, 4.0L, manual trans with 102,000 miles on it. Did a tune-up(plugs, boots, Chevron Techron fuel system treatment) immediately after buying it. Since then, the Jeep has exhibited some issues that I'm hoping to clear up:
1. Momentary hesitation in acceleration immediately after shifting into gear. Acceleration is fine thereafter.
2. Rough idle, around 600RPM. Sometimes seems as if it's going to stall out.
3. Cranks but doesn't fire on first try some mornings. Always starts up the second time.
The air filter is new and I just cleaned the throttle body, both of which did not affect the conditions listed above. There is no check engine light on. It's also worth noting that when I purchased the Jeep, the "Low Fuel" light was on and it was nearly empty. I did read a lot of other posts about some of these issues being caused by the TPS and IAC, but with all the symptoms together I'm leaning more towards the fuel pump/filter/regulator. I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this combination of symptoms, or if the issues could be caused somewhere other than the fuel system. Also looking for advice on replacement of said fuel system parts. Thanks for the help!
