|SonicBoom||thanks chipmonk, that's what i was thinking, one set of maxpedition 5" tactile straps for the roll bar, another set to go through those, then the molle Camelbak pouch through the second set., just seems like there should be an easier way, I cant believe no one has come up with Molle Rollbar pads. hint hint|

|chipmonk66gt||If they are long enough you could wrap it around the bar. It wouldn't be a mollie type connection but straps. Most of the mollie stuff has a button fastener at the end. I don't think it would hold on well. The mollie does well because they are laced together.|

|SonicBoom||Question, has anyone attached a MOLLE bag to the roll bar, I am slightly confused since the bag straps are horizontal and the connecting straps are vertical and the roll bar is vertical. does this mean i need an extra set of straps?|

|Tweak||long story short, the panel will have horizontal straps and the item will have vertical straps. holds very securely.|

The attach just as you described. They make aftermarket systems (and some bags include a cool system) that allow quick detatchment and attachment of the bags. My 5.11 Tactical bags came with the "Slick Stick" style of attachment. You can Google it for some pictures and stuff.
I bought my 5.11 bags on Amazon. There are tons of MOLLE bags on there and just as many manufacturers of these types of bags.
MOLLE gear on Amazon.
They handy and popular in that they allow a very customized way of arranging gear and offer versatility because there are numerous shapes and configurations.

MOLLE 101 Help
Ok, I have not seen these MOLLE systems up close and do not claim to know what a MOLLE system is. How do the bags or pouches attach? Are there straps that go in and out of the cutouts in the plate or velcro? Where do you get the bags and clips to hold things? I need some training on this one.
