FFwrangler17 Had alignment done when tires were put on about a year ago. Is there any required or recommended front end changes to do when lifting 4.5" besides the actual lift itself?

UnlimitedLJ04 do a dry steering test. have someone turn the wheel back and forth at least 180°, while you watch. see if anything wiggles. nothing should move/wiggle side to side.

FFwrangler17 Thanks, almost positive it's a stock pitman arm. Here's what I'm working with.

UnlimitedLJ04 post up a bunch of detailed pics of the steering and suspension, and we can likely tell you what's going on.

Dextreme I would check to see if it has a drop pitman arm on it instead of the stock oem pitman arm. Many kits include a drop pitman and it causes the bumpsteer.

'04 unlimited w/ 4.5" lift need front end help

Just recently purchased the '04 unlimited with 4.5" lift. I'm getting a lot of steering wheel bump but no death wobble yet. Can also tell the front end just has a loose feel to it. It has 35x12.5 coopers on it with the coil lift no spacers. I've searched the threads but can find exactly what I'm looking for, need some advice as what's best. I was thinking of doing the upgraded drank link, seeing how it is kind of wore out, and put a dual steering stabilizer kit with it. I've found the heavy duty tie rod kits online for descent prices, thought that might be a good idea also. Just looking for where to start and what would be best to match to the lift that's on it. I appreciate the help and am looking forward to the responses. Thanks
