1. I like the bigger tires on a lifted jeep... with the lift and the stock shoes it looks like it's top heavy.. that just my opinion tho.. since you have the 2nd set, I'd run the larger ones.
2. before you start swappin stuff, do you have a body shop close by? Maybe the guy will check your frame so you know what you're dealing with before taking things apart.
I hate having to do things more than once if it's not necessary - even tho wrenchin' on my YJ is always a good time to me.

|Nas.a7x||Do you think I could have an over sprung spring on the right rear since I've had to put lift shackles on the other 3 springs to level it? If its not a bent frame that is. I'm going to swap my rear springs from side to side this weekend to see what that does.|

Doesn't look ridiculous. I think it looks funny when people have a minimal lift and try to stuff the biggest tires they can fit under there. I have 225/75s on my jeep with 2" suspension and 1" shackle lift. I may go as big as 31s.
On another note, having stock springs and 1.75" of shackle lift not only causes bad lateral movement, but messes with your caster angle. That will cause problems with your steering's ability to self-center.

For starters I bought the 2" lift springs used for cheep and bought new shocks. Put them on and the front was 2" lower so I made the shorter shackles and it was still too low, so I made the longer ones and now its level, except the left rear was 1" lower so I put one of first shackles on that spring and now it sits level all the way around.
Before I did the lift it had stock flat rear springs and I bro
ke one on the right. But it sat lower in the left rear then also. I just assumed this was because it had a new stock spring on the front left. I got the jeep from my brother who had wrecked it in the front right.
I'm going to swap my rears from side to side when I do the rear end and see how that looks and hope its a spring and not a bent frame

|Nas.a7x||I made a second set that are 2 inches shorter at 5.5" so after I do my rear end swap I I'm going to work on it then. I think I got 1 sagging spring in the rear|

|jeff_in_rc||IMHO using shackles that size to lift the Jeep is NOT the way to go. I got the BDS 2" lift with all new springs, shocks, u-bolts etc and it works so much better than even trying to do something with the stock flat springs.|

Yeah, your lateral (side to side) will have a lot of torque with them that long.
Just be careful on that cornering, and flexing, and you should be fine.

|caposto||Looks fine. It will look different to you when sitting in a row with a bunch of other Jeeps with various lifts and tire sizes. That's a better test to see if you like it.|

I've got another set of wheels (15x7, 3 1/2" bs) that I have 265/75/15 on them. I haven't tried them on since the lift I got to get one fixed and remounted.

yes, it looks very stupid. You'll want to add another 6" of lift for a total of 8" then throw on the 35" tires.
lol, just playin'. It looks perfect. You now have room to flex without rubbing, thats how they should have rolled off the assembly line in my opinion. I'm running 33's on a 4" lift. Looks tight because it is. I can't flex very much without rubbing. I'm either going to add 2 more inches of lift or maybe go w/flat top front fenders or something before I remove my sway bar. I think yours looks great, it should now perform as it was designed without any rubbing from the tires.

If you want to go bigger, keep an eye out on your local 4x4 forum. I scored a full set of rims/32s for dirt cheap.
