I am almost tempted to see how much weight each individual tire would take if I had them balanced. Just to see how much the Centramatic Balancers are actually working.

Brit Nick Looks like a good time.
Do you use your Jeep as a DD ?

Was wondering how the balancers do on the highway ?

Sinister6 Got out on some trails here in CO. It was a great day for the most part. I wish people would understand trail etiquette and not go on trails if your vehicle barely runs!! Here's some pics!

The next real test will be tire life, there's a lot of review stating how the CB's increase tire life. I put on about 60 miles today, and overall very pleased. Any doubts I may have had in the back of my mind are gone!
EDIT:

Well this weekend I put new tires on my beadlocks. I scraped all the lead weights off rims and drove around to see how the new tires seated.

No shakes or shimmies whatsoever the Centramatic balancers are working 100%!!! I really am blown away by how well they are balancing a bead lock rim and a 67 pound 35" tire. I really don't see a need to even have the tires balanced at this point.

Owen_TJ thats awesome man...lookin forward to seein it

Sinister6 It'll be Spring. I'll order the 17" Beadlocks around Jan, then tires.
08-16-2014 03:24 PM
Owen_TJ Very welcome...

that'll look great. They're definitely in the plans for me but i'll have to turbo my 2.5 first before i can throw the 37's on there...the power just isnt there lol.

when are you hoping to have them on there by??
08-16-2014 02:51 PM
Sinister6 Thanks Owen.
Both axles have a truss on them, RCV's in front and Ten Factory shafts in rear, re-geared to 4:88's, I definitely think I've done everything possible to create a solid platform for 37's.

Owen_TJ Great lookin rig, man!! Lookin forward to the next weeking trip we go on...

i'm right there with you on the 37's...aiming to go that route myself in the near future I think

Since my rig is still my DD I'll do both (balance & CB's) to insure a smooth ride. Come Spring I'm jumping up to 37's so I'll need all the help I can get in balancing my tires.
Yeah. That's exactly what I meant.
I should have worded it better.

Sinister6 Order tires on Wed off EBay. Showed up TODAY! WOW! On fast shipping!
REALLY wanted 37's but very little options on a 16" wheel. Come Spring...37's and 17" wheels!

I wish those things worked on a JK.

Sinister6 Yup, I'm impressed with them so far. Getting new rubber here in the next week. After I get the new tires mounted in interested to see how the CB's balance an unbalanced tire.

Those tire balancers are sweet! I may have to order a set. I'm running 31" AT tires on my TJ. Even though it's all aligned correctly and I don't have any issues there, I still get some cupping on my front wheels. I put new wheels on over the weekend and used the same tires. The front tires required over 3oz of weight to balance! Maybe some of these things would fix that issue.
