Sinister6 Replaced the front speaker yesterday. Huge difference!

Attachment 1520690

They bolted right in Except the mounting plate is different.

Attachment 1520698

The Jeep has speakers mounted in these pods, if you look at the pictures of the speakers on the box in the mounting tabs on the pod you can see their different.

Attachment 1520738

I found these cutting drillbits at Harbor freight, they make quick work of the plastic in the pod. I put the speakers in the pod pre-drilled a hole & used the original screws to secure the speaker in the pod. The rest is pretty simple.

NOTE: when putting speakers in make sure you have them in phase. Meaning make sure you have the positive & Negative connected properly. To determine which lead on your speaker is which... Take some leads and hook them to a AA battery if you're positive and negative's are set up properly, The speaker should lift, improperly and the speaker will drop down.

Sinister6 Here's another video from Mt Blanca, CO going back down Jaws2. This is also the obstacle that has the plaque in memory of one of the individuals that have died on this trail.
