fljeepleo Relocated my connection for the air line outside the engine compartment and up by my grill. The connection got unbearably hot after wheeling.

fljeepleo Thanks a lot! 👍

The ultimate goal is to get out west maybe on a little vacation. With two new kids funds are getting tighter.

JKJeepit

you have one nice Jeep... I don't think my Jeep fund could keep up with what you've done...
I do have a few parts setting in the garage to install though...

You ever get a chance to wheel out west your Jeep is going to tear it up!
Cheers.

fljeepleo ARB air compressor installed today. Used the Synergy under hood mount. Compressor is nice and came with great instructions, The Synergy instructions were online. The Synergy bracket went in easily with a little elbow and hose to clear the brake Booster line.

The kit fit well and I used parts of the ARB harness but still wired it through my home made Dbox. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that I had to buy a Tfitting to work the pressure cut off and hose fitting together. Cheap parts but it would have been nice if included.

I've aired up all my vehicles, bicycles and pool rafts.... What now?

JerryJeepster You guys are killing me! Er should I say going to kill my bank account. I'm going to have to get my butt moving on my rebuild so I can be like you guys!

88Hatchy I set them at 35

fljeepleo I'm embarrassed to admit this but I haven't checked them since I left the shop. Whatever they are now feels pretty good.

tabber02 what are you running tire pressure wise? you're a little heavier than me... curious what you settled on.

fljeepleo Heading to the Sheriff's Jeep fest on Monday so we'll see what kind of gas mileage I get.
08-30-2014 05:22 PM
fljeepleo Thanks, I really am surprised it isn't as noticeable while driving as I thought it would be. I can barely tell the difference from my 35s

Well with some minor trimming to the inner fender the 37s fit at full flex.

I'm still running the manual with 4.10 gearing and 6th gear is still usable. Regear in the future.

tabber02 here's fine.

fljeepleo We should be having this conversation in Bob's build thread.
08-24-2014 12:27 AM
fljeepleo That was a Frankenstein Dana 30, that Tera44 is super sexy.
08-23-2014 09:11 PM
88Hatchy I hear there is a Dana 30 that survived 37" tires for over a year.
08-23-2014 09:00 PM
JerryJeepster I do believe they are! I should bite the bullet and pull a Bob with mine. That would be a tereflex axle! I hate to put any money into this wimpy d30!
08-23-2014 08:51 PM
elclipo Are the JK ball joints that sucky? I have to change mine but they're 14 years old and have 120+ thousand miles.
08-23-2014 06:27 PM
JerryJeepster Looking great! 23K miles and my ball joints are shot.
08-22-2014 09:55 PM
tabber02 looking good brother. has the stamp, ready for Georgia!
08-22-2014 05:29 PM
fljeepleo I have to say, the synergy ball joints made a big difference. Amazing how the stock ones got so sloppy in just two years.
08-22-2014 05:27 PM
fljeepleo Thanks to Bob, Will and Darrel I switched out the blue winch line to gray and the Teraflex diff cover is installed.
