the front doors were only on until i got the mirror relocation brackets. looks like this now (i tried to exclude the ridiculous wheels from this pic!)....
thanks for the info on the RK 2.5 vs 3.5. I spoke with a couple retailers and got advice to go either 2.5 Max Travel and also to go 3.5 XFactor. so I figured I'd go 3.5 now since the cost isn't that much more and it's one less thing to change out later. But I get your point on it being a lot of lift for 35s, as people seem to get more than advertised height gain from the RK lifts. i'll call RK and ask them directly.

Seems reasonable. I just ordered the 2.5" Max Travel with the intent on 35's. I'm running 33" Duratracs right now, and they have a ton of tread life left.
My understanding is that unless you're planning on putting on the 37's soon, the 3.5" X-Factor is going to be massive overkill for your 35's. Also, I don't think there's any reason you can't upgrade the 2.5" Max Travel to the 3.5" Xtreme later by adding uppers, different springs, changing the rear lowers, and a rear trackbar. The wasted parts if you go taller later will be the springs and rear LCAS. Check with Jason from Krawl (or the retailer or your choice) on this, but part of why I'm taking the 2.5" path I am is that I won't be over 35" for a long time (daily driver too), and the 2.5" is more than enough for it.
Think about regearing longer term as well. I also have a 2012 with 3.73, and even with 33's (Mine are D-rated though) I lost about 2.5-3mpg city, and a little less than that but significant highway. If you're going 35's, expect a little worse depending on tire weight. With 37's, it's only going to get worse.
Give Jason a call at Krawl and talk to him about lifts. I thought I knew everything there was about what I wanted, and a 20 min conversation with him had me do another 7 days research on my own, and change my mind.

|WatchThis!||With the Nittos and Fox shocks it is going to be a rough ride for sure. Lowering the gas pressure can help out a lot.|

I have never seen anyone roll with just the back doors off... Lol.
That wheel and tire combo should even be offered. The jeeps look so puny with them on there.

2013 JKU transformation - phase 2 -
OK - I have read what seems like every thread on every forum and am now about to pull the trigger on my wheels/lift - tell me why i'm making the wrong choices.....
2013 JKU (ok, i admit it, i have kids....) Sport, Auto 3.73 gears, no options (except UConnect)
i'm in Norcal so pismo, hollister, rubicon, moab etc. are all on the list. i don't need to be rubicon capable day 1, but i dont want to install stuff i'll need to take off and replace later. it'll be a daily driver, but just around town, not much freeway - doors/roof will be off almost all the time.
phase 1 - i've done lots of the easy/boring cosmetic stuff while i've been reading up on lifts etc. (tube doors, mirror relo, bikini top, hood latches, F+R seat heaters, trek armor seat covers, speaker upgrade, welcome distributing handles, grill mesh, cargo mats, dead pedal, molle tailgate....)
i'm gonna wait on bumpers, tire carrier and rockers (probably PS), and lights, air, winch etc. but now it's time for phase 2
have i made some bad decisions here or is this a sensible path?
