awhetsel How does Saturday let's say around morning time work for you. I will be coming down from Harrisonburg, I don't want to do the trail solo so I will be banking on someone else there.
11-05-2014 08:28 AM
stevenjill i could probably swing one day this weekend!!
11-04-2014 06:15 AM
awhetsel I think this weekend would be a good time considering the weather right now. Does that work for everyone else?
11-04-2014 03:39 AM
awhetsel I only have to work Monday thtu Thursday, and I'm down to go whenever. Also have a Rubicon that will be joining in.
11-04-2014 12:49 AM
coolin4u I'd like to make at least one more run before it closes but my days off are limited. When were you guys thinking?
11-03-2014 11:17 PM
stevenjill i'm pretty flexible! what days are good for you??
11-01-2014 05:35 PM
awhetsel Awesome when would you be able to go
11-01-2014 05:03 PM
stevenjill i would be up to plan a trip across the mountain!!
10-26-2014 01:03 PM
awhetsel Well damn I wish I knew that, been trying to head up there with a group for a while now. For some reason all my friends drive cars and I can't find anyone to go with me. I need to find better friends! What kind of man buys a car??
10-26-2014 12:48 PM
coolin4u I went yesterday with with 7 jeeps all 5 were on 33's one on 35's and a stock rubicon two door. No winching was necessary although the rubicon got high centered once and we had to use the hi lift to stack some rock under the tires.
I've been thru Potts 7 or 8 times now and it can be challenging especially when wet but is definitely doable on 33's without lockers with a good spotter and a smart driver or at least one who listens to his spotter LOL

stevenjill i won't make it today either! however i as well definetly want to go another time or two before it closes!
10-25-2014 09:33 AM
awhetsel There was a group heading up there today I was going to meet. Decided not to go till I get my winch.

awhetsel I have a '05 LJ unlimited 33's 2 inch lift no winch or lockers. Read mixed reviews on the difficulty, is this something I could do.

You'll make it thru. May need a tug just depends on how rutted out it is by then.
