College english instructor by day. . .

I picked up my first Wrangler a few months back--a 1999 sport, white with tan hardtop, 4" lift, 36" mickey thompsons, 94k miles, winch, the whole nine yards.
I love it dearly, but it is still a used car, and so far I've had problems with brakes, miserable MPGs, busted gauges, rattling undercarriage parts, and now an issue with the front hubs not engaging when I shift into four-wheel drive.

Being as I'm not much of a car guy, I thought I'd create an account here on the Forum to solicit the older and wiser Jeep owners for advice--look for my posts in the days to come.
