JBD I had the same problem. What it turned out to be was a shocker. Seven years ago when I put aftermarket rocker guards on I left the nutserts in the body from the stock guards. Water was getting in through them. This didnt happen until this winter. It took awhile to find with me inside and my wife outside with the water hose. If I didnt see it with my own eyes I would not have believed it. Not sure if this applys but something to look at.

rdock31 ^yeah check the drain in there.. Might be clogged. Same thing happened to me. Once I flushed it out, it hasn't happened since.

Mr Mac Same thing happened to us and was wondering the same thing about the cowl vents but the vent tube being clogged. Fortunate for me, the temps dropped to well below freezing that night making cleanup simple!

At any rate, I cleared out the drain tube and we have had a couple more gully washers since then without issue.

Wet floor

I've been noticing water in my drivers side floor board after a heavy rain. I don't see it on the passenger side. My seats and everything else stay dry and I don't have any noticeable leaks in my soft top, at least none that I see when I'm driving around. I suspect that it comes from the hood vent in front of the windshield. Am I off base?? Will it have a negative effect on any electronics under the dash?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks gang!!
