Kat78 Thanks folks! Hoping to get the new gasket for the door this week, and that it is all that is causing the leak. Installed my towing kit today. Quadratec tow hitch and wireing harness. Simple install and quick.

Love at first drive. Only downside is it rained on the way home and my driverside floor is wet. Plug seems to be seated properley, so now to check the door seal. Got an appt. at the dealership tomrrow for them to check it out as well. Now to go hide the keys from my wife.

Kat78 Thanks folks! Well made it in to the dealer today to see about the water in the driver side floor. They said that the gasket, on the door I belive they said, was deformed. They ordered on today and said they would call me as soon as it came in. Should be next week, as today is Friday. lol. On the other had the receiver hitch and waire harness I ordered from Quadratec came in today. Now I just need the rain to stop long enough so I can get outside and install it. lol.

scuba_steve Beautiful. Love that color with the black trim. It even makes our JKR rims look good.

Kat78 Thanks folks! Have been out of a Jeep since 2007 so it great to be back in one again. dealer found this one a little over 800 miles from them, and had it trucked in. The dealer is 110 miles from me. lol. when she rolled off the transport there were only 12 miles on the Od. There are a few more now. And many more to come. They asked me when I picked it up if I was going to mall crawl it or use it. Have trails will travel, or in some cases dont have trails, will make some. lol. So far the worst leak Iv had in a jeep was a 98 Sport. Took the top off and left it at home. Interstate at 75Mph and a thunderstorm. Damndest thing. Windshield wipers only work when the water is on the outside of the windshild. Ok so not really a leak but, you know. It was fun.

I drove a YJ with half doors (and zip window tops) for almost 7 years...and it was dry inside. Ditto the TJ that I drove for the next 11 years. I'm not accepting less with a JKR that cost as much as a mid-range luxury car.

Fortunately, mine seems bone dry...in the rain and even taking it through some fairly aggressive car washes, but if it wasn't, I would find out where the water was coming in and would then bring it to the dealer to have them fix it. If they couldn't, I would.

BTW, CONGRATS ON THE NEW JEEP! Dune looks like an awesome color. Post pics!
I do agree that it shouldn't & just cause it's a jeep doesn't mean anything different. I would like mine to stop leaking.I'm tire of taking it in for it. But damn, I'm going to use that warranty as much as I can before it goes

You may or may not going to need a head replacement like so many others out there. Water leaks you'll have a lot of. Brought my in for leaks about 6 times already within almost 2 years.

Other than that. Have fun!
