buckshot500 Meh, paint will get scratched anyway. Rattle can, & clear coat! Good primer (Cold Galvanizing) will help keep it from rusting.
If cost is an issue, Wally World has $0.88 rattle cans.

Primer & clear coat would cost more though.

E-bay, & jeep forum boards like this one usually have some you can find, in the for sale sections.

NAVYCHIEF they only stock primed frames. too many colors to stock them all. i used krylon primer and top coat on my doors and it came out real nice.
