I didn't really want to spend that money, but it really made more sense.

2K, I honestly couldn't have tracked down all the things I'll use for less.

This is what the engine has......Engine has new cam, pushrods, rocker arms, valves, timing chain, Edelbrock carb with manual choke, Procomp PC91 High Intensity Coil, ignition module, distributor, and spark plug wires. Engine runs great, transmission shifts correctly and has had recent fluid and filter change. Transfer case is a full-time unit with optional low range unit and center locking differential; transfer case chain has been replaced.

I figured I can sell some things and get a bit of the money back. My mechanic said I was welcome to keep it at his shop. I told him I'd give him 25% of the money from the sale of parts......figured that was the right thing to do, even though he didn't ask for it. He has been a hell of a guy to deal with, he will be my mechanic from now on.

Mine was good. Got me some tinted windows for my soft top, hi-volume air compressor and a high lift jack
It will be a parts vehicle for my 79. I can use the dash, grille, bumpers, carpet, door panels, a/c vents, etc. I may even swap the axles. He has already replaced Wheel bearings front and rear. Front ball joints have been replaced as well as steering linkage and all u-joints, including front axle u-joints. Slotted disc brakes up front, brake calipers and wheel cylinders, master cylinder replaced.
It also has a 2" lift...figured I might as well use it

That's cool. Probably the easiest to learn/use. Is it a 110v or 220?
