jpdocdave no prob. welcome to the forum

the front d shaft will spin when you're moving. but it is not under power at the tcase. you'd know if you were in 4 wd on dry pavement. in turns it would be fighting you and hopping and junk.

newer trucks and stuff the shaft doesn't always spin, so thats probably where the confusion came from. jeeps the shaft will alwasys spin due to the straight front axle, but it is not being powered, so don't worry.

4WD Question.

Quick question...My dad realized today that my front drive shaft was spinning as i drove away. I was wondering if thats normal or am i runnin in 4 wheel? Sorry kinda stupid question. I'm 17 and it's my first jeep
