ohioviper I found a busted hard top for cheap that I am going to pick up Saturday.I plan to cut it down to make a short panel behind the freedom panels to make a hard summer top. Too bad someone cant manufacture these. I will post pics when I get it finished.
Any takers. I will go in on a joint venture. We can call it Freedom top plus

dano0726 I used to have an acrylic sky top that seemed to be water/rain proof

MichaelEdwardsDO Find a custom surfboard maker. I'll bet one could up a broken board and make fit. And get some wet okole seat cover just in case

AUskier I have to admit I've thought about this... It would basically be a hard bikini top. The two freedom panels would cover the front and a panel would cover the rear seats back to the sport bar. No flapping plus a good seal when you had the doors on for rain. You could run a duster on the back for more rain protection.

Not sure it would sell like hot cakes, but I would have been interested before I bought a soft top to go along with my hardtop.

ohioviper I wonder if someone could make a panel that would fit in there like the hard top but maybe only go back past sound bar .I bet it would sell like hotcakes .

legitposter SJ999, I don't think this is an area worth exploring. You're trying to stop rain dropping on you but allowing it to flood the back. Sounds like a bad situation all together. Like Blastek said, buy a soft top or run the hard top.

Blastek well, other than duct tape and some ingenuity, run the hard top or get a full soft top.

freedom panels and no hard top - how to prevent rain through gap?

Driving with freedom panels only and Bestop half top over rear. How to stop rain from coming in the gap at rear of Freedom panels?
