I really shouldn't laugh, both of mine leak. I've done all my own work to my rig but I think I'm going to have them replaced at a shop. What did it run you?

Those fenders are on my list BUT i'm not sure if I need 3" or 4.5" (other brand of fender). I MIGHT run 1" wheel spacers in the future but that's a maybe.

Thanks!
I ran into the same issue you are; and i did a bit of guess work. But i'll pass my results having made my decision. I'll grab some pictures for you tomorrow.

Before i swapped fenders, i had normal stock fender flares on(Not the 1" extended sahara ones). Using a plum die, i measured over the fender down to the tire tread. My 31" duratracs jutted out about a half inch. With the tube fenders, they come out about 1 1/2". So you lose about 1" in coverage going from stock to 3" tubes. This wasn't a big issue for me, as it's barely noticeable to the naked eye. And my Jeep passed inspection just after installing these, with no mention of tire coverage. Though this will vary depending on how picky your inspection place is.

If you want to go the 100% legal route, you'll probably want to go with the 4.5" fenders. But from what I've collected about coverage laws and how they're enforced, the general idea is that as long as they're not jutting out an extremely noticeable distance like 3", you'll most likely go unnoticed. Besides, there's plenty of other *technically* not legal things on my rig I've never gotten stopped for.
And if all else fails, I've heard of people using that plastic garden edging to make their own make-shift flares.

Hope this helps!

Other than that, i got brand new front brakes for inspection. Painted my calipers red while i was in there to add a splash of color behind my wheel spokes. She's sittin' pretty again. Until i break something else that'll require me to upgrade

Doc_H clay bared and waxed her now she looks brand new ps she is a 99
Yesterday 09:27 PM
SolarColumbia Sanded, epoxy primed and painted rust spots on fender around bolt holes for fender flare. Painted brake drums with one coat Rustoleum Rust Reformer followed by Rustoleum gloss black. One rear wheel was torqued on to like 200+ foot lbs and I broke a flex head and an extension getting the lug nuts off. Had to use 2 ft length of pipe over the tool and pull really hard. Will have to replace some tools and probably pick up a 40" 3/4 drive breaker bar in case this ever happens again. First time taking wheels off since I got the Jeep so I don't know who to 'thank.'
DBoat rinsed the dirt/dried mud from my tranny cooler
Yesterday 06:33 PM
ChaTownTJ Installed two clamp collars on my sway bar. It has been shifting and rubbing the frame on the driver's side, which made this terrible screeching sound. Ordered from McCaster-Carr on Saturday and received them today. First "modification" I've made since I bought it. Big moment!
WIwrangler Changed the oil made some zipper extensions rubber coated the flares and made my own light bar just need lights now lol busy day oh and made my own grab handles Also cracked the windshield installing the light bar

Just a few things

Well I finally got my Poison Spyder BFH bumper with Brawler bar installed along with the first of two 4" LED lights installed also. Paid only $24.00 ( shipping was $23.99 and won lights for $0.01 each on 2 different ebay auctions) for each light. Still waiting on 2nd to arrive by mail. I also created my own quick disconnects for my stock sway bar. They cost me roughly $4.00 each at Tractor Supply Co.

Sorry for the bad pics. Camera had been inside and the humidity was so high it fogged my camera up. Its hot and HUMID down here in GA. Found out I didn't need the washers for the disconnects either, which stopped the light tinkling I heard on dirt roads.
Saw this today on ebay
Jeep MJ dana 44 rear axle with a TnT truss, ARB locker and 4.56 gears. Complete with brakes. No issues, everything works fine, ready to bolt into an MJ or weld on perches for an XJ. It is the proper length for a TJ or ZJ but will need brackets welded on.

Price says $1200.00 OBO
I sent him an email all ready. Who knows it might still be there and ill get lucky. From the pic it has a nice diff cover also.

Mind showing the mount you used? I take it this required some drilling? Thats a pretty awesome setup; nice work.
