I have a 2004 willys edition. It has an auto with overdrive and a 2 piece tan hardtop. Only mods are the wheels and tires.

I have seen both the auto and manual, plus with and without A/C on the Willys Edition Jeeps. The base model on a Willys Edition is an "X". If the dealer added on a hardtop, it could be either Black or Tan, but not Green.
It IS possible to add a D44 to the "X" as a factory option, but the dealers never seem to do that, most customers do not care. But when you add the D44 as a factory option, it only comes with the "Track-Loc" limited slip diff.

|flflash||I'm pretty sure the 2004-2005 Willy's package only came with a manual transmission....but there may be an auto out there somewhere?|

The Rocky Mountin and Willys are two different packages. The Rocky came statandard with a 44. The Willys did not

They are pretty cool if they are your thing and are very unique.
Downside is that if I were to own one, I would never modify it. You pay a high premium for these and seems dumb to then turn around and modify it.
As to if they came as an auto, I can't comment on that. I just can't imagine someone wanting the WWII look and then wanting an auto. Seems silly to me.

Willys edition question
One just came up for sale in my are and I was wondering what sets them apart from a normal tj?
Also I was wondering if they came in automatic or if they were just manual?
