|JeepandMud||I did not upgrade the shocks since people who I've talked to that has the nitro say they are a rougher ride and wish they had kept the standard shocks. I've had mine on since 2011 and have done some pretty rough off roading (think trails up to a rating of 8 out of 100) and the Jeep has held up really well. The ride, like the website states, it is definitely a ride difference as your not feeling every pothole in the street. If you trust someone out there who has this exact lift, ask to see if you can ride along or drive theirs around the block.|

MML is a motor mount lift. They lift your front motor mounts up an inch and tilt the rear down a bit, helping with driveline angles.

|DjA||Before I knew that I wanted to do "black diamond" type trails, I had a Skyjacker 4" lift and 33's put in. Up to this point, I've been able to keep up with all the big boys and their higher end rigs without a tug, just by taking good lines and paying attention to my spotters. The bushings on the LCA's wore down after about a year, but other than that it has been fine. I have no idea how much better other lifts are, but the skyjacker has been fine for me.|

|apaTJ||I'm running skyjacker shocks and their not bad. But I would really recommend less than a 4 inch suspension lift if your on a budget. Even if it includes a transfer case drop you may still need a SYE to get rid of driveline vibes. Get a 2 to 3 inch lift or the zone combo like others have mentioned which only lifts the suspension 3 inches. You won't need new CAs or a track bar either. And you should be fine running 33s with proper bumpstop spacing.|

Then after just a little bit of research I found that it really wasn't what I was looking for quality wise and that there was alot more that went along with it that what is included in that "kit". Then after months more research (I'm kinda Jeep OCD) I determined the DPG kit was exactly what I wanted.|

x2 on the no DPA install. That's always a bad idea.
I have a friend with a 2" Skyjacker BB with their nitro shocks. It's ok I guess. But I'd definitely look into Zone combo lift. It's a 3" sl with a 1.25" bl and I believe it also comes with a 1" mml. This gives you tons of room for later modifications like tummy tucks and the ability to go up to 35's by only adding another inch of suspension lift (along with steering upgrades, possible axle shaft upgrades, and brake upgrades, just things to think about ).
Another good option is the DPG Ultimate kit. Comes with high quality OME stuff and allows you to run 33's or 35's with some other mods. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

I put a 4" Skyjacker on mine a couple of years ago (pre-research) and while it's not terrible, (I'm currently slowly replacing it a few parts at a time), I would take a look at a Zone Combo lift if I had the same budget and was going to start over.
With the Skyjacker you raise the Jeep 4", and drop the transfer case 1 1/2" which is kind of counter productive, unless you install an SYE (big $'s). The springs are a little hard riding, and some have mentioned they sag, although I haven't had that problem. Don't let anyone talk you into a dropped pitman arm whatever lift you decide.

skyjacker 4 in econ lift for tj, thoughts?
looking at getting the 4 in economy lift for my 05 rubi, wondering if its worth getting, i have a tight budget or else i would be looking at a nicer one, also would i need to drop the t-case since its a rubicon and comes with a standard sye? any other accessories would you recommend with the lift or is it pretty good by itself?
