|dredg009||Here is a rundown of wiring. A switch has 3 wires normally a hot, a ground, and a load(out to the accessories). A relay usually has 4 wires a ground, a hot, a trigger(from a switch or a keyed power source), and a load(out to the lights or accessories). That might help you.|

|dredg009||I can't tell you for sure but I believe since It would replaced the kc switch it is already grounded and has power so I'd send the white\yellow directly to the relay as your trigger. Its hard to say without actually seeing it in person. Also you said the kc wiring has a white green and brown then asked where the black goes that makes no sense.|

|TideJeep||The KC kit has white, green, and brown wires that connect to the switch they provide. The brown is the ground. If the white goes to the white/yellow, where does the KC green wire go?|

|dredg009||He said he's use the kc wiring. I did a custom harness for mine cause the po hot wired the fog light relay to the hard top relay and fried the socket for the fogs. I have an 02 and the schematic says it is a white/yellow wire coming from the fog switch(multi function) to the pdc. That may be the ticket for us.|

|Atthehop||If the wattage is higher than stock you should use relays and use the factory switch to trigger the relay or else you may overheat the wiring and burn up the Stock harnesses.|

Splicing Into Factory Fog Switch?
I'd like to replace my factory fog light wiring with the KC kit right up to the factory fog light switch. Which wires do I need to splice the KC harness into, and how do I get to them?
