GoldenSahara00 If you need cam bolts I have some I just ripped off a d30 I am swapping in, so I have spares. Probably the same size but I'm not sure. If you find out they are compatible I will send them your way cheap. I was just gona toss em.

Probably right on the jam nut, issue should be obvious once you get the arm off.

JOCJK Okay so I'm not just paranoid. I'll pull that when I get home and see what's going on.

Baldy the hole is bigger, it is made this way so you can have some adjustment. Only thing is that it looks like you are missing a washer. when you move the jeep, you control arm is moving back and forth which also means that your frt. axle housing is moving. get a cam bolt kit and put it on. depending where you get it, it will cost any where from 25 to 45 bucks. got mine at NAPA only place I shop for parts anymore. The 25 is a price at ORILEY'S. here is what you should get. The kit wont fix the way it is cocked but it will keep the bolt from moving back and forth. If you dont get the kit, at least find the washer that is missing. it fits between the two spots that are showing in the second pic. this what keeps it in place.

JKralph could also be the large jam nut came loose and needs to be retightened.

what does the control arm joint look like at the frame end?

edit: my bad, saw that it was RK, which means the frame-end joint doesn't allow for misalignment like the joint up front does, so I'm thinking it's a loose jam nut.

GoldenSahara00 Yes, looks like the joint could be broken down, I would take it out and examine the joint. I don't know why It would be bent over like that at ride height. I know on TJs the bolt holes are like that, to allow for some adjustment of the front end. Nothing to worry about.

Control Arm Question

Installed RK 2.5 Flex this winter. Re-torqued everything a few weeks ago. I'm noticing an ever so slight pop when I'm pulling out of my parking spot, figured it was just ice buildup up as we got a bunch of heavy wet snow this week.

Now that it's 50 again I'm still getting the pop from the front end. Crawled under briefly and noticed 2 things. The first pic is the front lower passenger CA and it looks like that joint is out of whack, I'm positive it wasn't like that when we torqued everything down. The second pic is the front lower driver side and it looks like the hole is bigger than the bolt. Am I just paranoid or is that the case?
