I'd much rather go there than try to fight traffic on the beach road and find parking and then have to be on a crowded beach! I think that's why I love the lake so much, no crowds

JGreen06TJ That sounds like a good weekend.

I was invited to a birthday party for what would have been my 2yo granddaughter (absent the divorce). Still debating whether I'll go or not. I like seeing the kids and grandkids but Its a little awkward with the ex's husband #2, #3, and soon to be #4 all sitting together in a small room. I've skipped some birthday parties and felt bad about it. I've gone to some and felt like I shouldn't be there. I'm still on the fence about this one.

Hey B! It is, though it's been a while since I've been there. I love Corolla, you can usually go far enough down the beach where you don't have to worry too much about other people being real close. It always makes for an enjoyable day

We don't either. That's why the club spends so much time in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. There are a couple small places close by but the trails are pretty mild.

I prefer trail riding through the woods and up/down hills with some knee high rocks thrown in. These things are like little goats scrambling up hills.

There are none close to me, all in VA or a few hours away. Occasionally there are big Jeep runs at the beach, but I go to Corolla all the time so that's not big for me. Besides, I prefer to play in the mud.

Yeah I was either really stupid when I was younger. Or really lucky...
I was both, but the skills I learned from it do not apply here, and no amount of skill can help the dexterity. It's not within my control. I'll leave it at that.

I don't think that's a lot for the number of Jeeps involved. It's just hit or miss on trail damage. The two broken axle shafts happened just easing into a difficult obstacle. They hadn't even hit the gas yet. Then you see Jeeps bouncing off rocks or trees and it's hard to believe nothing broke.
