JKBrad Krylon Fusion. Made my XJ flares look like new. They will still have the textured finish though.

I guess really my options are to just look online and luckily fine some or just simply buy different fenders like bushwackers.

I asked friends for references, and ending up finding a one man shop in a small town north of Dallas. He does good work at a very reasonable price. You just have to find the right place, and sometimes that takes a little effort.

What you said makes no sense..

Painting automotive parts and doing it well costs money.

Depending on your vehicles paint code, a quart of paint can cost $150 bucks.

Reds, yellows, orange...all those colors are more expensive than black or white.

Painting plastic parts can be tricky...Depending on the plastic if it's not prepped right your paint job will lift off in a few weeks.

When it comes to painting..cheap isn't always best. You can easily spend more fixing mistakes, than just have a professional do it.

PhotoWrangler Have you checked into a local paint and body shop to see if they can paint yours to match your body color?

I plan on doing this a little later this year.

Blackpony04 Every once in awhile a set will show up on Craigslist. I kick myself for not jumping on a set of black painted ones for $150 a few months back but I keep checking.

Bamafever19 Gorilla do you have any pics? Did you do this? If so I would love to see it. Sorry I'm kinda a visual person.. I just feel like if I do it it'll like like total crap.. Idk maybe not :/

gorillahydrographics If your going to paint them, do it right.

Get high fill primer...you can get it in a rattle can at most auto paint stores our of you have a compressor in a 2 part with hardner.

The filler primer will take the texture out.

Apply the filler primer, maybe three medium coats, wet sand, paint.

kappaknight Just pull them off and paint them yourself. It won't look smooth like the Sahara's buy it'll be darker.
