What color is your G8?

I have a G8 GT, G8 GXP. Both are fun cars and then my daily drivers are a Silverado and a Vibe GT. Looking at an unlimited Sport S.

JKFiNk Jeep is my DD and my only vehicle. Avg. 18mpg to and from work ain't so bad... Only set back is the 22K I've already put on the thing in 1 year

KittyPrawn With the extra insurance and registration and other nonsense to pay, I wouldn't really end up saving that much money in the long run on gas. So, I just drive my Jeep... the gas mileage really isn't that terrible, especially after I found the most gas effective way to drive to work in DC traffic.

Rigger007 My DD is a '10 Jetta TDI. With a 70 mile round trip commute the fuel savings cover my Jeep payment!

That's what I was thinking. I see many people in vehicles that don't "baby" them when they aren't paying for the ride, upkeep, or the gas.

Yes. That was taken just north of Hondo in the Hill Country on my in-laws land.

Congrats. 27 years? I bet you had quite a range of cars. I still have a ways to go. I'm hoping maybe 8 - 10 more years.

themadhatter444 Yup. 2004 BMW 330i as a DD. The Jeep and BMW go together like PB&J. BMW during the week while I'm wearing a suit. The Jeep on the weekends while I'm wearing a swimming suit. Summer lovin'!

Holy crap! Me too. With only 1,800 GXPs made, the odds of this are pretty low. My Jeep is my DD. Frankly, aside from the fact that I just wanted a Jeep, I got it so that I could garage the GXP.

Dollar 2013 Rubicon. Not a daily driver, but somehow I've managed to rack up 5K miles in 5 months. It's used to run all errands on weekends and whatnot.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. This is the wife's daily driver. Worse on gas mileage with the Hemi than the Rubi. She averages 13 MPG city. Just over 20 when strictly HWY on trips. The larger A/T tires don't help.

2009 Charger. My daily driver is my take home car. I think I get MAYBE 10 MPG with the Hemi. I don't really baby it .

Heat Miser My Jeep is the daily driver. I have an '89 Porsche 944, that I'll never part with, for a totally different kind of fun, and my wife has an '08 VW Jetta that's the gas mileage champ in our household.

Pmorrison We have a 12 Armada and a 07 Chevy pickup. My 12 jk is a year old and has 5k on it. It don't get driven very much
05-08-2013 08:53 PM
ScottV63 My mostly daily driver is my 2011 Santa Fe Limited. I was waiting for a Mustang GT when Jeep finally decided to put the 3.6 and the 5 speed in it. Always wanted a Jeep but the 3.8 is such crap (IMO).

No looking back, love my 2013 Sport 2dr. I realize it is far from anything like a Mustang, but that's what makes it special.

mannaggia My 2nd is a 2002 Chevy Silverado, extended cab, 5.3 V8 w/Z71 pkg, around 140,000 miles.

My 17 yr old daughter now drives it mostly. She loves it. I couldn't part with it when I bought the JKU. It's great in the snow and a truck is really useful to have when you need it.

My wife's car is a 2007 Chevy Suburban.

The oil companies love me...

Senojelyk I have a second Jeep, a 95 YJ that's been retired to the parents place for when I go home. All sorts of problems that make it a bad dd and don't have the time for it in addition to the JK right now. One day ill get time to fix her up again.
05-08-2013 07:44 AM
MonkeyMonsoon We have two second cars. 06 cobalt ss/sc and an 09 scion xD...both daily driven.
