|Gunner||I get more thumbs up and comments on my Jeep than any other vehicle I have ever owned and I have had a lot of very fast and flashy rides. Yup it does make me smile. I just would like to be rich and be able to do it all but I can't so I gotta chose a path. I promise I won't do Rambos 20's though.|

|Gunner||So I am on the Jeep mod hold for a bit as my wife and I save for a big jeep accessory buy. We are getting a Ripp. I decided I want the extra power on the street and like this one the best. I know it won't do squat on the rocks but I'm ok with that. Watching Art and Steve go wheeling in the Hard core stuff always makes me realize that I would have to spend huge money to make my jeep do what they do with their home builds. Or sell it like Rick did. That aint gonna happen. As much as I wish I could the reality is I live 100 miles from the closest trails and my jeep is my DD. And I love it. I just want to have fun with it. I'm a hot rodder at heart. So I will continue my build, but with a slant toward trails like Calico and maybe some easier JV stuff, that a fat bellied JKU can do on 37's and be happy. I have to step back every once in a while for my reality check. I really like what Kenny, Steve, and Art are doing and sharing. I'll just keep plugging along and having that big silly smile that my Jeep puts on my face when I drive it. Oh yeah that dry lake is calling. LOL if I posted this before just ignore it. It's one of those days.|

|Gunner||These are all pretty good shops and well known. Those of us who are JPI groupies are that way because Stan and the guys always go the extra mile and stand behind their work and products 100%. If I still had my shop I would be Fabbing on my jeep like mad. But I can't so I found a shop I like and have stuck with them. Try any of the ones mentioned and you will most likely be happy. Build a relationship with them and wheel with them. If it doesn't work out JPI is worth the drive.|

There are other shops like ORE and Rebel to name two but at JPI the owner is there and available to Discuss your Jeeps needs and builds, that makes all the difference to me.

Point taken! It's hard to beat personal service from a pro.

|XJ_Phil||I don't mean to sell J.P.I. short, it's a well respected shop with an endless list of satisfied customers, but aren't there other adequate shops closer to L.A. and O.C.?|

To answer your question. JPI= Jeeperformance.
It's THE shop to go to.

|Wranglernator||Question: I realize there are a lot of DIY'ers in here, but what are some good shops to do lift installs in OC or LA? Anyone using 4 Wheel Parts? TIA.|

|htkrph||Good afternoon everyone. Anyone up to a day run this Saturday? Ocotillo wells or anything like that?|

|Gunner||Morning Jeff and to all of you out there in Jeepville.|

By the way look what happened to the steering box. Would have never guessed there would be enough pressure in there to bend the washer that holds the sector shaft seals in

How's an 2003 D60/10.25 Sterling set of axles for $750 sound?
Or should I opt for a 14b and change the front to 8x6.5?
I think with a 14b I'll be able to keep my dash from looming like a Christmas tree. Not a whole lot of info on the sterling other than "it's been done"
Talk to me...

I hope the memories you shared with your father bring a smile to your face. Smile upon the sadness my friend.
