Jerry Bransford That code is indicating your 32RH automatic transmission's lock-up torque converter isn't working properly. Odds are very good that the lockup solenoid located on the valve body needs to be replaced. Not a difficult or expensive job.

hey all, i have a 2001 jeep wrangler sahara and i got an error chekc engine code which is p0740 and im trying to find ways to trouble shoot it but im not very familiar with my jeep yet. any tips on trouble shooting the solenoid?
