mason93 From what I have been told yes. A buddy of mine has a yj and he said he has seen some guys with older models using factory JK rubicon shocks because they supposedly have extra travel. I looked into it a little to see if it was worth doing to save some money on a small lift and the general feedback was no because they are a pain to install. There is some info out there aboud it.

00tj2 Your probably better off in the YJ forum. This is the builders forum, usually reserved for actual builds or questions concerning things more advanced than your question. Hopefully a mod will move it for you.

Shocks...im lost.

Can I install shocks made for a jk onto my yj? Or does it specifically have to me manufactured for a yj?
